Orchard Picnic and Hayride

One of my favorite things about apple picking is planning a fun and pretty picnic lunch! Being at a table next to a row of apple trees and seeing the view of the mountains beyond is just a great spot to slow down! Picnics are one of my favorite things!

I pack one basket of goodies from my house: chalkboard, table linens, cute straws and serving pieces. In this case, we had ham sandwiches and corn chips from home and everything else came from the the orchard - all.the.apple.things! We sliced apples, had apple cider slushies and of course, apple cider donuts for dessert. Brown paper boxes were leftover from my farm birthday picnic last year!
