We avoided the crowds and long travel and drove a whopping five minutes {just to get an open space from tall trees!} from our house to the nearest high school. It had been cloudy and rainy but a small window into the sky opened exactly around the sun like God provided us a little peekhole into His handiwork! It was exciting to see about a 98% eclipse! It looked like evening outside and we were thrilled to thank God together for allowing us to see it and acknowledge along with Psalm 19:1, "The heavens declare the glory of God, the skies proclaim the works of His hands."

One of my favorite things about the recent eclipse is the phone call afterward - Rachel said the eclipse was "amazing!" and Emily said it was "thrilling!" :)
