Adventuring
I took my three little students on a field trip last week to see a Wizard of Oz ballet! This is Emily's favorite book and she's never seen the movie, but this was a treat and we all enjoyed it! A large city a couple of hours from us does educational ballet performances a few times a year and they are only $5 each to go. This was part of Emily's birthday present and the day finally came!
While I didn't take any photos of the ballet - we had our lunch with us and usually just eat in the car, but spotted a close by park this time! Don't know how we missed it the other times but we were so glad to find it and enjoy such a beautiful day! I love that we have the flexibility to adventure together and that this has become a treat for us to enjoy with each other!

Looks like a really FUN day! So glad you had this outing.
Love you, Grandma/Nana
Fun!!!! I love homeschooling for this reason! You have found a perfect little park. It looks beautiful, refreshing, and even a neat place for a mama to have a "slow day" at.
I love those kind of days...lovely photos
Those are beautiful photos!!
