Pioneers

I love when an idea strikes and children run with it and pretty soon they have created and imagined up a storm and the results are inspiring and beautiful!

Last week - it was pioneers. A jump rope was tied between two car door handles for a clothesline, there was laundry being done outside and "food" gathering and preparations. They had a dishwashing station and invited me for breakfast even.

Love everything about this!

Love this post! Fun times, great memories! So much better than playing computer games. You are doing everything right. :)

I'm most amazed that all three are able to find an activity that they enjoy doing together. Due in part to the fact that they spend their days together schooling, I'm sure. Hope your breakfast was nourishing (to the soul.)

This is the way children should play and it warms my heart when I see it happening. Love ♥

I LOVE this!! Once we made lunch pails (reminded me of Laura Ingalls) out of large cans and we punched a hole and tied string for the handles :)
