A Mama Day

When our father-daughter plans for Saturday were postponed for weather, I asked David if I could have a day to go out and do some shopping and errands. It was such a fun day and I was so looking forward to it even though it was fairly last minute!

I love layers!!! An unseasonably cooler day was so welcome and I felt so happy in Fallish clothes!

My absolutely favorite CD right now - soooo lovely!

My first stop - a cute crocheted top, bracelets and three pairs of shoe liners - perfect for me since I love to wear flats with no socks showing! I had a coupon and shopped sale/clearance so all of these things were $16!

My sweet blog friend, Angie, sent me these adorable shoes a few years ago!
I have loved wearing them and I do believe she only paid $1 for them!!!

These photos are of my picnic lunch! Knowing I was going to be out a lot of the day and wanting to get good deals and be wise with our money, I didn't want to eat out! So, I had fun packing a cute and fun lunch! I did stop at Chick-fil-A for a free chicken salad sandwich and added that to the rest of my lunch from home.

I had tucked a quilt in the back of the car and just found a quiet place to park on the edge of a store parking lot. Saved me money and was quiet and peaceful!

It was also a day of great deals and I had fun!
