Journey Through The Holy Days

The beginning of the holy season is upon us and it has snuck up on me! Last night I realized that I needed to be busy before this morning pulling out some of our ideas from the past.

Journey Through the Holy Days printables
Cradle to the Cross Wreath
Names of Jesus Garland
Passover Dinner
Repentance Box
Easter Garden
Six (More) Ways to Celebrate Easter

Are you planning any special things for celebrating this Holy season?

UPDATE: If you are trying to download the files for the printables linked above, please e-mail me at thehomespunheart (at) hotmail (dot) com - apparently there is now a charge to use Scribd and I'll happily e-mail the files to anyone who is interested.

I love your printables but when I go to download them it says that I need to pay. Is that correct?
Thanks so much for your great ideas!

Thank you for the reminder to get out our Easter devotionals.
Forsythia in bloom looks so promising. We were in VA this weekend and saw daffodils blooming.

Thank you so much for all your work! I would love to print the pages you have on Scribd. Is there a way to do this without a membership? I would love to do this with my 4 year old. adramThank you so much!

Monica, thank you for sharing these ideas! Somehow I missed your "Journey Through the Holy Days" post last year (at this season of life I don't catch every post, even on the few blogs I follow). :) I have a 3 year old, 2 year old, and 7 week old. We already have the Cradle to Cross Wreath, but the children will love the addition of the family activities that make the Scripture more tangible! Thank you for allowing us to share in the fruits of your creativity and hard work. I know I wouldn't be able to sit down and put something like this together in these "new baby" days. ;)

Hey Friends, There should not be any charge related to Scribd - not sure what is going on there. If you'd prefer not to log in, please e-mail me at thehomespunheart (at) hotmail (dot) com and I can e-mail you the printables! Thanks!

Thank you for sharing your ideas! We are tracing through the life and ministry of Jesus (beginning with His presentation at the temple and ending, of course with His resurrection) through Scripture, Bible stories, and coloring sheets/crafts. We are also learning a hymn each week to correspond to a theme during Lent, i.e., Adoration, Confession/Repentance, Forgiveness, etc. I think I will incorporate the Repentance box idea, perhaps revamping the box each week for the theme. I am so blessed to be directed to that idea! Blessings to you and your family!

I'm not sure what I'm doing this year. I just want to be faithful to read my Bible and memorize Scripture every day :) :) I remember when you went through the holy days last year :) :) It'll be cool to see what you do this year :) :) Love and hugs from the ocean shores of CAlifornia, Heather :)

I just wanted to let you know that Scribd has changed how they handle documents recently. In order to download something from Scribd you either have to pay or upload a document to gain 24 hour access to download things. It didn't used to be that way, but they changed it. Bummer. I know there are a lot of people who have used Scribd to host free downloads on their sites...this is going to put a kink in that for a lot of people. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Just wanted to clarify that for you! Your downloads look really neat though!!! God bless!
