Days of Beauty: Give
Smack Dab in the Middle of God's Love published by Tommy Nelson is the next book up for grabs today! I immediately noticed how bright, colorful and eye-catching the illustrations are! View the flip book here.
I've only read the book once (again, Emily ran off with it!) and while it is a great story, it left me wishing for something more - though I cannot put my finger on exactly what. I guess it's fair to say it just didn't grab me. But, I don't want to diminish the message or effort behind the book. Just trying to be honest in my review here.
If you would like to win a copy - please leave a comment below sharing how you encourage your children to share God's love with the world around them! Comments will be open until Friday, October 21 at 10pm EST.
Disclosure: I received a copy of this book from Tommy Nelson to keep and review here. They are providing a second copy to one of you at their cost. All opinions are my own.

We have begun to volunteer as a family. I have noticed this has given them the courage to branch out on their own to help where they see a need.
We enjoy doing shoeboxs around Christmas, sharing cookies with the neighbor lady, and other ways of sharing God's love

Our little guy prays for people at church everyday and tells his friends about things that God brings into his life that he wanted. Not too bad for 3!
We pray for people in our prayer times together and then I encourage them to tell whoever it is that we are praying for them when we see the people. brian amy 10 @ hotmail . com
Monica,
This book is co-written by Mer's husband. I would be interested to read it, and that fact makes it more compelling for me!
Oops, just realized I didn't follow your guideline. We've been working on our OCC shoeboxes!
This year we decided to forgo the presents from friends at my 6 year old's birthday party. And instead we asked everyone to bring food items for the mission. It ended up being great and my kids (6 & 3) haven't stopped talking about it.
