Mama & Me Cookie Treat

For review in our CC class, I recently wanted to do a moms vs. students game. And, I needed to come up with a prize that would be suitable for whichever group won and that could really be enjoyed by both!

I had gotten some Valentine M&M's on sale at Walgreens and remembered this recipe. Instead of jars, I just used ziploc bags and since I was out of chocolate chips, I chopped up Hershey's Kisses that have been languishing in my cabinet and substituted those.

We ended up missing that day because Emily was sick - so we'll look forward to trying again on this game and prize in another week! I thought these turned out so cute!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Those are really cute. I never thought of putting them in a bag instead of a jar. I'll bet that makes it easier financially when you're making a bunch.

What a cute idea! I love the idea of using the kisses instead of chips. Happy Valentine's Day!

What a clever name change--from Cowboy cookies to Mama & Me cookies! And since the bulk of the ingredients are already measured, any age child could help with the rest of the prep. Love this idea for an activity to do together.
Wouldn't this be great to use as birthday party favors or mother's day banquet centerpieces? Totally useful but pretty to look at in a mason jar.
