Cooling It Off

If you've ever had a toddler or even been near one - you've likely heard at the dinner table that their food is not the right temperature!

Well, Emily is no exception - she doesn't even like her food WARM! So, here's what I've been doing and it has helped so much.

I have a set of melamine plates that I serve Emily on. And, I just keep the stack in the freezer. That way when I put her food on it, it cools off really quick and she rarely complains about her food being too warm anymore!

Great idea! I will pass this on to my daughter to use with "little man". I have enjoyed reading over your past posts. You are very creative! I love the pictures, too!

I like this idea! I ususally just serve T's food first and stick it in the freezer for a few minutes while I finish serving our plates.

Right now, since it is about 8 degrees out, I just stick their plate of food out on the deck for about a minute and a half :) Talk about low tech. And since it is so cold out I don't have to worry about a neighbors cat or anything coming along and sampling it.

In the summer I actually stick the plate of food into the freezer. Luckily Princess is getting to the age where she will actually eat warm food. Buddy still wants everything to be almost cold.
