Completed!

Saturday just before lunch, I finished the kitchen! I've had the cabinets all painted for a couple of weeks - but still needed to do the top clear coat. I had set a goal of finishing this project before we left for Colorado and we're on the road this morning! Just squeaked in, but I'm so glad it is done!!! See the nice beadboard my Dad put up for me?! I painted it one shade darker than the cabinets and love that it has a little aged look to it. Such an improvement from the thin board that was there before!

See Part 1 here and Part 2 here.

Yay!!! Looks fantastic! Nice work, & it will be so fun for you to come home to! I have been wanting to paint my cabinets white, too, & was dragging my feet due to having to prime & paint...once I heard about Annie's chalk paint I've been excited to use that! Just saving up now. How many cans did you use of the white paint? And did you just need one can of clear coat? Thanks for your inspiration & help! I may just take the leap & do it!!!

What a good feeling to check off that task prior to leaving for vacation. And everything looks so tidy. I like to tie up all loose ends prior to a trip. I'm glad for that motivation to get it done. Have fun in CO!
